Team Reptile positions itself as an edgy, no-nonsense, fun-loving company that puts gamers first. They have created their own pocket of stylized games based on extreme sports.
I have a personal connection to the brand. I have loved their games for a while, and I always wanted to have an impact on their branding and aesthetics. I started by collecting inspiration from the 2000s anti-piracy and early PlayStation 2 ads, things I grew up with. Like those ads, I wanted this campaign to be mysterious and strange to make people wonder what Hyperfunk is and question what this logo is about and why people are getting the logo affixed to their bodies.
